Suit: Microsoft knew Xbox could damage discs

Not quite as bad as it sounds, it only occurs if you move it from horizontal to vertical while it's moving. I don't know about you guys, but personally if I have a disk spinning in an electronic device, I try not to move it at all, even the old discmans didn't like big jars and they were designed for listening on the move or portable.

That's why mine is laying down under the coffee table the TV sits on and it's against the wall. This is simple gyroscopic action. If the average person understood tech aspects a little more life would be so much better. I guess we shouldn't tell them hard drives or any spinning platter has the same physics law. I bet these are the same ones that would hold a hard drive in their hand while it's spinning and move it around and say hey that's cool, but I think they need to fix that.

I agree with u Doug even though i will never get may hands on a console
(Parents wont let me they think i spend too much time on the PC)
