The battery in my Dell Inspiron laptop is dying on me and isnt covered under warranty since I have already had it replaced. Does it have to be a Dell battery I replace it with or should any laptop battery that fits and is the same power specs work? I guess im mainly wondering if I would be able to buy a battery off of newegg and slap it in or should I get one from Dell where it will probably be over priced?
