    Check my voltages please.

I'm in a bit of a rush today but I just had to do a bit of an OC. I loaded a bunch of setting form a thread at EVGA, the OC works for me but the voltages in it are for 4.2, I'm not interested in that and my temps are running a bit high. Do any of theses voltages seem a bit high? Also which ones should I try to drop if none stand out.

This thing get a lot hotter then it used to so i think I need to re paste.

Your Vcore is way too high for that clock.

Thanks, I just dropped it to 1.25 and that made a huge difference in temps.

I'm not surprised it dropped a lot. 1.4V is usually for clocks of 4.5Ghz+ under great watercooling lol.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the other voltages could be adjusted down too.

What are you using to test the overlock?

          Prime 95 for the test

Try IBT. Much better for newer chips and gets them running hotter.

Holy Jesus, that vcore is .. Hu-hu-hu-HIIIIIIGHHH !!! 1.406 ??? Hot damn, no wonder your temps were up !! Hahaaa ....

I keep forgetting to check on what my 2500k is at - its bone stock running at 4.1 - I think I'm at 1.25v.

Juneau, by IBT, do you mean the International Brotherhood of Teamsters ?? That's where google takes me for a search on that.

So I guess OCCT is now left to the overclocking dustbin of PC software ??

LOL, my bad. Expected it to be a top result in a Google.

                  It's Intel Burn Test.

Another good one is Aida64. It does come with a few warnings though due to how Haswell, and possibly some of chips deal with voltage regulation when certain instructions are being processed.
