    Mah new toy

Got this one home today. There are lots of review sites for it but the picture for this one is in the right color and stripe pattern.

    Car Review: 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392

I was given a ride in one of these. For the longest time I was not impressed at all with the American muscle cars.

    This vehicle changed my mind.

What's the point, Granpa? All you're going to do is drive it 10 miles under the speed limit. You disgust me. GIVE IT TO ME!!!

Yeah, same paint job. I haven't been able to open it up much yet but I did take it from standing to 80 in about 5 or 6 seconds on a freeway on ramp.

Although I wish it had the Barracuda name. Then the one Johnny Rico bought would be a 'Cuda.
In the '70s a friend had a convertible 1971 'Cuda with a 383 Magnum in it. The only thing I disliked about the car was the Purple exterior and the white interior.

I just got it back from having the windows tinted to the legal limit and having the the windshield, paint and interior sealed.

And then I went out and bought a copy of Vanishing Point for some history. The car that hits the bull dozers at the end of the original movie is a Camaro BTW, not one of the Challengers.

I wish they would come back with this one. Roadrunners made the best music.

A friend of mine had this. A 1970 Plymouth Superbird. It is a Roadrunner on steroids.
He ran two engines in his. One was a 383 magnum with a six pack and the other was a 426 Hemi.
