A friend of mine filmed this coyote in his backyard, playing with his Gordon setter...it's been going through the yard lately, the dog's been barking at it...and now, this. I thought it was pretty cool. (up north in Appleton, WI)

Coyotes want to play from time to time too. It's good to see wild and domestic animals cans till interact without violence! The wanders of nature.
Thanks for sharing.

In Lake Tahoe, California, where my father lived until his recent passing, the Coyotes would do this for a few days and then leave.
Then one day the owner would let the dog out at night, and then when he goes to get his dog from the yard, there are pieces of him everywhere.
The Coyotes eat dogs all the time. Tell your friend to be very cautious about allowing the Coyote in the yard. They will accumulate that yard as territory and then it can become dangerous for even humans.
just an FYI- and thanks for the cool video

Hammy is correct. Coyotes and Alligators love doggy snacks. :D

Sorry to hear of your Father's passing, Hammy.
My father mentioned the same thing about the coyotes. One will play decoy...and lure the dog around a corner where others are waiting. I thought of this even while watching the video...the coyote seems to keep looking to one side (driving the bus, I've learned to look for suspicious behavior). Anyway, good advice, Hammy. I'll let my friend know.

That black and white cat is a giant, and the dog is relentless! The cat in the first one is surprisingly tolerant with those puppy teeth...funny how it gently grabs its throat at the end...
The last vid is no longer available. :(
