What I meant was you should ask Keifer for an autograph. Has your uncle ever let you meet him?
I thought that you might be related to Jennifer Morrison who plays Dr. Allison Cameron on House. If you DID, then I would have to make you introduce me to her...LOL
Any news on what the theme of the new season might be? I am wondering what happened to Audrey, and if Jack will come back for her...

They ran the first U.S. preview of the next season last night during the World Series. Looks awesome. :2thumbs: The retooling may be on the right track.
Since most of you may not have seen it, I'll just say I'm not liking who is being made out to be the bad guy right now. It just ain't right. Hopefully something deeper is going on.

I dunno about that; perhaps. But if you go to Ain't It Cool News, they have had a link to an exclusive british preview for a couple of days now. You'll see a lot of the same kind of stuff, but squished and in poorer quality.

Yep. Love the show but difficult to tolerate all the commercial breaks: works out to '24' mintues of show and 36 mintues of commercials for an episode. Thank goodneess for DVR. I always record then FF through commercials.

Show me your source. They will never leave a mystery un-solved. If you notice in the final episodes of Season 6, Chloe is pregnant. They will not cut her off the show. And, it does still take place in the U.S. and 6 years after season 6. Seriously, buy the season 6 Disc Set, and learn about upcoming season 7, before you start ranting about false information. And btw, Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard) is back. 24 season 7 is already completely filmed, They are already starting season 8. (Kiefer signed another 3 year contract after season 5, day 8 will probably be his last.) There will be no "24' movie. Why make a two hour movie, when a whole day (season) of twenty four is 18 hours long?

There is no way they've completed filming of the entire season. There is also no way they've even begun considering day 8. Check your own sources. There's a writer's strike coming up, and they already had enough trouble just getting an idea going for this season. They chucked out several versions, and even killed a season concept several weeks into fleshing it out.
They'll be very lucky to get this season in the hopper before the writers strike. They're not even going to be thinking about the next. As far as filming goes, it's not physically possible to film the entire season since they hit on the right formula for the writing, even if Kiefer wasn't spending part of his recent weeks in court.

Considering season 6 was filmed simultaneously with season 5. It takes them about a 2 weeks to film 2 episodes, and edit them. They work non-stop filming, writing, and editing. Kiefer said himself in his own damn interview, they are already working on season 8. Instead of trying to correct someone when you're obviously mis-lead, try google-ing a recent interview with Kiefer, and him explaining about how they film 2 episodes simultaneously, and how season 8 is already in production.

Give us a link then. I can't seem to find the magic combination of "Kiefer Sutherland" "Season 8" or "24" to give me ANYTHING that gives any sort of detail on Season 8. Enlighten us, by all means.
I'm looking at an interview from August right now (http://tv.ign.com/articles/810/810061p2.html), and the following appears:
Question: Is it set years after Season 6?
Sutherland: This is gonna be months [after Season 6].
Here's something from another interview he did before Season 6 (http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20006893,00.html):
What did you think when you read the script of last season's finale, when Jack is abducted by the Chinese?
I thought, ''So next season, we're filming in...China?!''
Two examples from two interview sources that sort of blow holes in your assertation that Season 7 will take place "years" after Season 6, and that Season 6 was filmed simultaneously with 5 (it wasn't). If that were the case, why would he even think "NEXT SEASON, we're filming in China?!"
By the by, there is still a movie in the works. Doesn't mean it WILL happen, only that they want to do one. Here's yet another quote (http://movies.about.com/od/interviewswithactors/a/sutherlnd123006.htm):
What can you tell us about the 24 film?
?It?s something that we really, really want to make. The real key difference would be that the 24 hour film would be a 2-hour representation of a 24 hour day. It would be the first thing that we didn?t do in real time. Mainly, you have to understand, we?re making two episodes every three weeks
Here, you have to actually like, do math. 2 episodes into a 24 episode season means 12. 12 times three weeks equals 36 weeks. For ONE season's worth of episodes. 72 weeks to finish two seasons if done simultaneously, with no break. Where, pray tell, does his 3 month break in filming come into play when he makes the movies he appears in? He just filmed The Sentinel after Season 5 wrapped. How would he have time for that if he was spending 72 weeks filming two seasons at once?
I could go on and on showing how you're wrong, but it's not worth any more time.

P.S. 24 Season 6 doesn't come out on DVD in the States until December 4th. Thanks for playing.

I don't really know why you seem so proud. Nowhere in MY post do I mention anything of relevance to the point you're trying to prove to Sniper, and in fact that post you link to provides nothing to support your previous assertations, such as season 6 and 5 filmed simultaneously or that Season 7 is done. In fact, your rather useless link to the 24 IMDB page only shows that 3 Season 7 shows are complete.
I already knew Kiefer was signed through season 8. I don't dispute that anywhere. Trying to bring back in my comment on "thanks for playing" with regard to your response (by the way, you didn't need to repost the entire quote) to Sniper is just pointless. He didn't say that, I did. Yet you're not replying to me. (By the way, just because a person is signed for a season of a show does not mean that season is "under development," another one of your points you don't prove in any way. If it's cancelled for whatever reason in Season 7, obviously 8 won't happen, regardless of contract).
You haven't posted anything to actually prove your previous points. Your arguments in this thread are weak, and you are resorting to asshattery to try to make Sniper look bad, but only succeed in making yourself look like a fool.
Now, I'm not going to close this thread yet because I want to give you a chance to respond. But it's very close to the end of it's lifetime. Which is a shame considering the point of the thread is nowhere near where we are now.
How about you make your reply if you're going to do so, and we get this thing back to topic? :back:

Sniper stated, that there was not going to be a season 7, until recent discussion (3 months ago,) although Kiefer signed a 3-year contract for three more seasons, 6, 7, and 8. Now, I am currently working on some proof that will clarify that seasons are filmed simultaneously, I have lost all my bookmarks (switching from Opera to Mozilla) and I had it bookmarked. I remember it was an interview with Jon Cassar, and another '24' EP (Executive Producer). Somewhere in the interview, they were discussing that Kiefer is getting to the age, where playing the role of Jack Bauer could be quite difficult, which is why they started filming two episodes at the same time.

Ok....first off, if you paid attention to what I wrote you would notice that I said......."MAYBE keifer extends past season seven". Rand also cleared up what I meant by there not going to be a season 7 until recently....just because someone has a contract doesn't mean they actually make the show, also you said that "Episodes" are filmed 2 at a time.....thats completely different than " FULL Seasons" being filmed 2 at a time and is most likely true if they are in the same season, but no way are full seasons filmed at the same time. Lastly.....I could care less if you believed me or not about my uncle, besides you don't even know what I look like....so how would you even know if it was me with him :?
Nice try.....And thank YOU for playing!!

Well, Judging by your spelling and grammar, you're probably twelve. If you read your OWN post, you said "There wasn't even supposed to be a season 7 !! It wasn't even discussed until about 3 months ago and even then NO contracts extend past season 7 except for MAYBE Kieffer and thats only because a film that he isnt even committed to yet wouldn't be 24 now would it." Kiefer makes more money in a single season of '24', than he would in any movie. He's already making $555,555.00 and episode. Making him the highest paid actor ever. Would you turn down a $40 million contract, plus $13.3million a season? I don't think so. You want to move back on topic? Try googleing some things before you start talking, Ohh, and the "Forum" was created for discussion purposes, we are discussing a matter that is basically pointless but somehow entertaining.
