I left to go to the Clinic at 8:00PM tonight. As I was leaving I saw a bunch of Sheriffs, Firemen and ambulances at the store across the street. When I get back at 10:00, they have blocked all entrances to my apartment complex. I asked them how long it would be before they let us in and they said an hour. At 2:00AM we (dozens of car loads) were let back in after spending the whole time in 44 degree F weather. All this because one punk shoots at another punk and then runs through my complex. They found no evidence and the punk is probably at home watching cartoons or asleep in bed.

California law enforcement needs an I.Q. check, ASAP. When you watch a 12 year old kid steal a car, drive it around his own block which he lives on, on TV, at 15 MPH, all day long, throwing gang signs and clowning to the neighbors, till the car runs out of gas. And the cops couldn't catch him. He turned himself in later that day because he was proud of what he did. That's what I call "useless". You may as well have no police at all.

As someone who has spent quite a bit of time with Calif law enforcement, often in direct participation, we are handcuffed by the jerks with video cameras, the "feel-good-do-good"ers, and the lawyers.

There are people out there who get pissed when you tackle someone who gets belligerent- they continue to be angry even when you pull out a hand gun with a 15 round capacity out of the waistband of said douchebag.

The PD's must be soooo careful- they are trying to stay alive, they are trying to not get sued, trying to keep their job, and on top of that they are trying to keep a public happy.

It's a crappy job, and thats why I didnt take the gig in the first place. I've been begged to join PD's, Sheriff's, and ever time I have said no. It's a head trip full of heartache where you get eat assfudge right off the shelf, sometimes without even removing the wrapper, all day everyday, 7 x 24 x 12 x 365 a year.

This is a blanket statement I have a problem with. I understand that sometimes in order to control the situation LEO's must use force. Theres nothing wrong with that that. However excessive force I find repulsive...

As for the bad rap lawyers get.....who else would you go to to help you with the law?

I don't mind seeing a little force used on those who use force to get what they want. If the cops are busting thugs with records a mile long, a history of violent crimes and breaking the law, I think the cops ought to be able to use enough force to minimalize their own danger. Fools who habitually break the law ought not expect respect when they are finally caught.
