Apart from still being alive and living up to his song, when I'm 64, Macca has continued to have hits through the 80's and early 90's. Worked with the biggest names in the business and has always stood for what he bellieved in. The rest are prestty cool :2thumbs:
Peter Best is a hazbeen 'I used to be'. Get over it Pete. You were never really a Beatle, apart from a dung Beatle.

The Beatles were great, but to be honest, their recordings are very outdated. If only they had access to today's technology. (And if some of them were still alive for that matter =D)

Lennon all the way. He took a break to raise his son. He was just as big when he released his next album. If he was still alive he would be bigger than McCartney.

Wall of sound was the basis for a lot of todays tech(and it made Phil Spectre crazier)... Lenon ftw.

Have you heard Harrisons solo stuff? Get the album All things Must Pass
u want substance, you got it. Plus the last 3 songs are just Harrison proving hes one of the greatest guitar players of all time
dont believe me again? listen to the end of Abbey Road, thats the beatles just JAMMING AWAY!! its fantastic
also, as for their 'outdated' stuff, actually we cannot recreate some of the things the beatles did because we dont use their technology any more, such as the craziness in Sgt Pepper and some other stuff (my friends a beatles FREAK, so i can get more info on that later)

My favorites were Lennon and Harrison. Although Ringo did have more solo hits than most people realize.

Lennon for originality. He was dearing, and formed his own opinions. He changed things, did not let them change him. And he did not seem to be as materialistic as Paul.

John Lennon and Yoko Ono conduct a bed-in at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal. They record "Give Peace a Chance," with Tommy Smothers, Timothy Leary and others.

I started to vote for Lennon because he is dead, but Dung probably covers it better. 40 years of the beatles is just too much. Even Mexico quit making the beetle.
250 years of Mozart, and each note is still as perfect as when it was written.
