We had a guy in our band growing up that could do that and I would just stop playing the drums and watch him it was so mesmerizing.

Who are the younger guitar gods now? All the great names that come to mind for me are all guys in their 40's and 50's like Malmsteen here or Joe Satriani, Eddie Van Halen, Angus Young, Brian May and guys from that generation. I also like Jack White but mainly because the White Stripes throw out so much sound with hardly any musicians.

And I don't just mean speed freeks with a whammy bar that think distortion and dirtying it up are the same as talent.

meh.... He kinda just moves his hand alot and repeats the exact same thing :D I like Muse and all, just as a whole, not guitar :D With all the stuff added in they rock some serious stuff.

check 3:14 in this... Gabriel Garcia :D

2:17 on this... Not my favorite but still pretty good :D

and since we added keyboards in... imo there isn't any comparing to Janne Warman in the world of music :D

First video didn't work. :(

Repeats the same thing? I think you'll find he doesn't. I will admit the two videos i posted have similar styles. How often do you see guitar playing like that in modern day music though? :D

Meh, still prefer Matt's piano playing. That Janne sounds like he's playing 80's TV/Movie music as fast as possible. :D

As I sit here at the computer my guitar leans against the wall behind me and gathers dust.
