Ok, I think i'll give it a try, i have never play any UT so hope it's good.
My question is what about system requirements?
Will it run on a machine like this:
AMD x64 3800+ Dual Core
2Gb ram
Nvidia 7950 GX2
Windows XP x64 edition (or 2003 server they call it too)
Crappy 1mb connection
will it work?

Depends what resolution you play at. That rig will easily cut it at 1280x1024 or 1440x900 with max setting i would presume.

That graphics card is probably capable of running this in high.
That CPU might hold you back just a little, but I doubt it'd be too noticeable. At most, you might have to scale it back just a tad to get it to run at native resolution if you have a large LCD (or keep it on high and run it at a lower res :2thumbs: )
Look forward to seeing you in game soon rafles

The file is fine, but your not supposed to run it on a XP64. Let me hunt around for the fix.
Step Three: Click<Start <Run then type in this gpedit.msc
then on the computer settings tab on the left hand side.
click on computer configuration, then windows settings,
then click on security then software restrictions,
then double click on enforcement.
At the bottom of the page that opens up select the option.
All users except local administrators.
Close Group Policy Object Editor.

Don't Worry step Three will now affect the normal operation of your computer.
Step Four: Download this file
[no this is not a fixed installer]
http://www.epicgames.com/download/UT3Demo-XP64-2K3.zip
it is a fixed executable for X64 operating systems
Step Five:Unload any programs like windows blinds, or sysmetrix. Run the UT3 Demo installer< chose directory .... ect ect
Step Six: Go To.. The Installation Directory For UT3 Demo
For Example [F:\Program Files (x86)\Unreal Tournament 3 Demo]
Then go to Binaries and replace the unreal tournament 3 executable
with the one that is in the download from step Four
[If you are unable to extract the file from step four google for a
program that can extract zip files]
Hope this fixes the problems people are having Let me know how you go because I've just spent nearly an hour and a half writing this up and making the links and taking the screen shots. But all i ask in return is to know how it went for you. If you have any questions feel free to ask or if you need help ask for it I've got no prob's helping out. Oh and ps. please forgive any spelling mistakes i have made.
the only error I've had since these steps is UT3 may ask you for a .dll file named dxd10_35 or something to that extent all you need to do in that case is
Reinstall the game.
so thats as far as we Xp x64 gamers have to a fix for ut3 lol
That worked for some people.

If it doesn't work you might be better of checking the offcial UT3 forums and searching for XP64.
