Bad news:

CHICAGO, Illinois, October 2, 2007 ? Midway Games Inc. (NYSE: MWY) today announced revised estimates for the Company's third quarter ended September 30, 2007, and fiscal year ending December 31, 2007. The changes are primarily to reflect Midway's decision to release Stranglehold for the PLAYSTATION? 3 computer entertainment system in the fourth quarter rather than the third quarter, the expected movement of Unreal Tournament 3 for the PLAYSTATION 3 system into the first quarter of fiscal 2008, and lower expected sales of BlackSite: Area 51 primarily due to the adverse impact of the split shipment between the Xbox 360 and the PLAYSTATION 3 system, with the European version of BlackSite: Area 51 for the PLAYSTATION 3 system shifting into the first quarter of 2008.

At least it's first quarter 2008. Full release here (http://www.midway.com/rxpage/mpr_12152.html).

So how long until it's finished?...

UPDATE: Mark Rein has this to say about the situation.
As a public company, Midway felt an obligation to its shareholders to let them know about the possibility of a delay. But our goal is still to get the PS3 version of UT3 in stores before the end of 2007. However, we will only ship it once it?s ready and is the best game we can deliver. The PC version is still on track for a November release.

UPDATE 2: Mark has added additional info:
Yes, there is a chance it will come out in December.

In addition there is some good news as well. A little extra time in development means that now the PS3 version will have all of the same maps as the PC version which wasn?t previously expected to be the case.

I was actually hoping for a December release since both COD4 and Orange Box are supposed to come out in Nov...so my wallet feels fine about a possible delay...:D

TD you should check out eternal sonata (rpg like final fantasy. Its better than enchanted arms). Its a new release.
Mass effect should be awesome as well.
My son is freaking out since cod 4 beta ended... he is going through with drawl i think.

We did get the hidden armor in halo 3 though. If you and some guys get board its fun to mess with (my son did it for us and got us the armor).

for wii i want mario galaxy and mario carts. On a side note man... nintendo is gonna be giving away free wii grips. If you havent heard about it shoot me a pm ill get the linky for ya. Pretty cool they start shipping like oct 15th.

But man if you want a good rpg... check out eternal sanata. Its one of the best rpg`s ive played in a while.
