The video was made last week. I didn't think we were going to do it but the bastard went down! You can't see me except for a couple of brief movements, but when watching the video from the primary position the camera stays in for most of the round, I am the person (Lock) seen throwing shadow bolt after shadow bolt at him from the right. When the camera faces to the right of Prince and comes towards the other group of players, I am on the far left.
Anyway, prolly most of you have done this same thing but I bet not many. Enjoy! 8)

Guess again Sparky. I've got no frigging clue what you're talking about except that it's WOW related.

Well, to be fair, for those that haven't played WoW, the title would only be cause for curiosity. The title is vague to the point where it could mean quite a few things, except to those that have played WoW.
For example, I normally don't think "Paladin" straight away when someone says Pally. For someone from WoW, thats I'm sure the FIRST thing that pops into your head (along with a host of other lingo terms that are exclusive to WoW or other MMOs).
For someone with absolutely 0 experience with WoW, you'd have to watch the video before even knowing what this thread was about. So no doubt you'll pique someones curiosity with a title like that.

Nice job Dark!
For those of you who have no clue, Prince Malchezaar (Prince) is one of the final bosses in the 10 man raid called Karazhan. Karazhan is arguably one of the most fun and detailed raids in Burning Crusade and is the last dungeon before you hit 25 man raids.
Karazhan is a lot of fun and takes most guilds two sessions of raiding to get completely through it with each session taking 3 to 4 hours.

Thanx Goat. That raid was alot of fun. We only 9 man'd it because one of our DPS class DC'd and we figured...what the hell. Lets try it. We got lucky :)
I would say he is the second hardest in Kara next to Nightbane. Our guild can do Kara in 1 day now, one shotting all bosses. We have 2 very active teams running it every day. Just started a active Gruul's Lair team. I hope we progress cause this stuff is killing my bank account. My gold levels have dropped below 3000! :o and I need new gear! :D

It's cool. I didn't mean to sound aggressive in this post. Usually I am at work when I make posts and do not have allot of time. I can totally see your point and well taken :)

I was at a friend's house late one night when they were going through Kara. That place almost made me want to re-open my WoW account, until I realised all the time I'd need to commit to even be able to get in there.
thanks for the post dark, and grats on raid!

The nuckleheads I throw out are usually meaner than Prince. :D
Yeah, as with any online game it is time consuming. Well for guys like me it is. I have been teased allot because of how long it had taken me to get to level 70. Most of my friends did it within 2 months. It took me well over a year. Some people have multiple lvl 70's!! I just don't know how some have that kind of time or patience.

Its sometimes not just an issue of time and patience, but it will be much faster the second and third times around then it was the first.
Add to that prior MMO experience, friends to help out (12 slot bags at level 3 type of thing), and leveling guides, time it takes can greatly vary.

Yeah, I'll admit to that. I have hooked up other people with 12 slot bags, etc.. I didn't think about it that way but your right. One toon is enough for me I guess. I know I definitely don't have the time to level any more. Maybe my Shaman...maybe :D

Yup...once I got a toon to 60, levelling the others was an awful lot faster. Pocket change to a high level is a fortune to a little guy. Knowing where everything is is nice, too.

Are people still doing Onyxia and the other "old land" raids? I'm sure ZG, MC and others are pretty barren these days...

Yeah...from what I hear. But I think it is mostly high level raid groups farming them for low level toons. Farming them for enchanting matts, etc...
Dragon, I play on the server listed below. I know what you mean by a toon transfer. It's a PITA. I certainly wish when I started playing this game I would have listened to guys like Toqui and Goat. cause' then I would be playing with a whole bunch of Clr's. Oh well. However...there is 1 Clr on my server and faction. Mr. Haazz :) He is a low level toon as well. You two should hook up. Anyway, I'll be playing this game for quite a while longer. I am not stoping until I reach the Black Temple. If you do join the server and faction I am on, I will power level you through a whole bunch of stuff. Plus I'll hook you up with Gold, bags, etc..
Click on my siggy and see for yourself :)

Oh, that was the first class I played when I started in WoW. A female troll shaman. Was pretty damn fun. Jack of all trades type of play, but she was great in PvP as the versatility was there. I could go one on one with most classes. Compared to say a warrior which is somewhat toast one on one with a mage (usually, not always).
Duel wielding really made the shaman fun. Get two really quick weapons and train up in the enhance tree. Get Flurry (increase attack speed by x% for each crit). Totally awesome, specially when you crit with both weapons. You can drop health much faster than with a 2h weapon, plus you swing alot more.
Man, now I want to re-activate my account lol

Stop it. I'm trying not to reactivate mine after reading all this.
Although Daggerspine is one of the dozen or so servers that I couldn't connect to the last time I re-upped because Blizzard and Comcast were in a pissing contest.
Nice job, Dark. Not sure how whomever took that video can actually see through that pile of icons.

"Hi! My name is FieryDragon and I have a WoW problem."
Everyone, "Hi Fiery!"
"I've been playing for about 2 months now and I'm already consumed by it. I've kept it secret from my girlfriend but fear the day that she finds out and kills me."
Everyone, "We are here for you! Let's give Fiery a BIG group hug!"
"I love you guys!"
