Well There is this cat that we (somewhat) own. He came wandering up to our house and so we decided to house and feed him. We come to find he is a chronic pee-er...??
He pees in our downstairs bathroom sink...and right now there is Baking soda all over the sink.
So does anyone have any other solution on how to get rid of the smell?

There are some cleaners designed to get rid of pet smells. I know they work for dog smells, but it might be worth looking into.
(At least it's in the sink!) :D

My mom caught it just before it pee-ed on her leather Cookie Lee? bag.

if it's a male cat, it's not peeing it's spraying. throw him outside, you won't break him of the habbit of spraying things.

Try white vinegar. But Drunken_chef is correct, if it is a male cat that hasn't been fixed, keep him outside.

We have used a product called Nature Miracle. It totally gets rid of the cat smell and doesn't smell too strong itself. :2thumbs:

Have your mom go to the pet store and get a cleaner that states that it is an "enzymatic" cleaner. They contain enzymes that break down ammonia to less smelly products. As an aside, most cats that urinate in sinks, bathtubs and throw rugs have a bladder infection so getting him checked and putting him on antibiotics may solve the problem. Any cat, not just intact males, can spray urine. It is a marking behavior but is usually done on vertical surfaces to let others know that this is their 'territory'. Take him to the vet, get his urine checked and have him neutered if he isn't already.
