The new 50 Mbps service (with 1.5 Mbps Upstream) is a Phase 2 pilot that will run from 1st October to 31st December 2007. They're upgrading to Docsis 3 so hopefully it won't be long till it fully available. There have also been numerous tests of 100Mbit to see how well the infrastructure copes. :D

Right now the highest they have in this area is 15Mbps down and 2 Mbps up.....which of course is what we have :D I want more though!!!

man I'm living in the dark ages. My apartment provides our internet, at a great DL speed of 40k/sec

bandwidth test pwns me.
