Ok need some help here if anyone knows what game this is pls say as it has been driving me crazy for a few months...
It is a FPS WWII(I think) about 10yrs old... it was the 1st of it's kind to incorporate great graphics as well as driving Jeep. Not sure if there was MP for it but the SP storyline was you were part of a Division in the war and you end up getting lost or seperated and you are all alone. Last ting I remember is the mission where you 1st are alone u have to prone across a field moving slowly so the Germans cant see you.
Another thing that made this game stand out was it was the 1st game to have a solid protection system where if illegally dll'd the game would fade in and out to a black screen.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated thanx :D

So we're looking for the most historically inaccurate FPS ever made?
On the helpful side, do you remember if it was a popular game, and if it had multiplayer? That would help.

I remember this game.
This is the one where you are in a sandbox and can run anywhere.
There are parts where you go and stand with the company and just hang out, and the Sgt drives up and barks at you to get in the jeep and drive.
And on the way there all hell breaks loose, and then when you get there, more hell. Then you get back to the base, and the base is being over run.
Is this the game you are thinking of?

Pretty comprehensive list, it seems like there's a good chance you might find the game somewhere in there.

call of duty has the same level.
Yeah, but it didnt sound like thats what he was mentioning.
The one I am thinking of was early sandbox- and it may have been IGN.
