For this week please keep in mind of those families who lost loved ones, and for all of those who died on September 11th, 2001. A simple prayer would be good. Also keep in mind all of those who have died in the War against Terrorism, who have fought to defend the freedoms that enjoy today. WE WILL NEVER FORGET!

I understand the importance of moving on, but I still get that strange feeling the morning of 911.
Even today, I had a 8:45am meeting ( the exact time Flight 11 hit the North Tower ) and I pointed it out in an e-mail that I would be a few minutes late.
Some people just don't get it, only one person out of 15 kinda understood and asked how I was doing this morning ( all knew I was there )
I just get a bit weird thinking I should be down there participating or doing something this morning. Its kinda tough being in Up-State NY while all my friends-coworkers are at the site this morning.
Being away from NYC today actually makes me feel somewhat guilty.
Make no mistake about, its time to move on and for the most part alot of people have and thats healthy and OK with me. Its just ...
I remember too clearly the phone call to my wife @ 9:15am telling her to get the kids from school RIGHT NOW and I didn't know when I would be coming home.
I did get home the morning of the 13th after 36 hours of emotional confusion and overload.
Too many people didn't get home at all.

I agree with moving on, but I wasn't around during Pearl Harbor, and I still give a moments of Silence for those on December 7th that lost their lives and those that lost their love ones.

I almost lost my mom to this incident. Flight 11 ( i think) was suppose to go to LA and pick my mom up because she is a Flight Attendent for American Airlines. It was a very scary. But I did loose a good friend that day on United 93. He was my friend, and I miss him very much.
Honor those by remembering for how they lived, and how they died.
