Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight movie

While its not the actual live action movie that has been rumoured for many many years to be in the making, its an animated movie, which can still be done right.

I'm sure those who recognized the title know the story.

A few notable names doing some voices:

Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor in Smallville and The Flash in Justice League) = Tanis
Kiefer Sutherland = Raistlin
Lucy Lawless = Goldmoon
Michelle Trachtenberg (Buffy's little "sister") = Tika

Kiefer Sutherland actually looked into the whole background of his character, Raistlin, before showing up on the set to do the recording. He was continuously worried about the pronunciation of the magic spells, so they had to to record multiple takes around his spell casting.

Yeah, this should be pretty good (I hope). I'm looking forward to Kiefer as Raistlin, and Rosenbaum does good voice work.

I actually just ordered the graphic novel of this story last week. I joined the "science fiction book club" with a "buy 5, get 1 free, pay a buck each" deal. With shipping, I'm getting six good books for 18 bucks, at least one of which is still $40 full price in stores.

All I have to do is buy 4 at full (i.e. over-inflated) price over the next 2 years. I'll just buy $12 graphic novels for that, and come out ahead. :2thumbs:

My wife did the sci-fi book club thing. They are horrible at sending you your selection of the month, even if you decline. Then they harrass you for not paying or sending it back, even though you did.
