The best there is. Also it probably the only app that gives exact on-die temps for C2 chips.

ok then. it shows my temp a little lower than tat. about 1C

CPUZ doesn't measure temps, and iirc neither does Everest. It takes it's reading from the outer edge of the chip like most apps.

thanks, further proof that my CPU cooler is indeed installed correctly by myself. After pullingthe CPU out with the heatsink ( it was that good a bond i suppose), i was really scared for a moment.

Were you using artic silver 5 littlev? same thing happened to me! Freaked me out. I only used a tiny amout of AS5 too....Ive read where many ppl have had this problem with AS5.

I always go by AS5's dirrections. Only a drop the size of a half a grain of rice, thats all you need. I've seen people put this stuff on like Spackle lol.

it was whatever paste came wirth the old CPU. the new stuff , i dont remember the brand, but i forgot AS5 with the new cooler, so i used what came with it. it works fine, so all is well

i'll take this over intel's TAT as well. TAT is good, i just like core temp better.

Your supposed to heat up the CPU for a while before removing the heatsink... or else it sticks. :D

no wai!!
too late now! its been running for almost a week straight now, i leave it on at night for the F@h GPU client.i am getting 1 unit a day average!
