Movie thread - have you used any online search engines?

Yep, used it on at least one occasion. I knew the movie but couldn't remember the title.

I am pretty good with movies and don't use Imdb much. My wife is also good at movies but bad at picking them. (she picks some pretty stupid ones sometimes - its okay she admits it.) Our collective memory is pretty good. However, there are time when I need to remember the spelling or the year or just to be sure I don't post the wrong info and look really stupid.

In the movie thread we have going (sticky on top of page), where people link actors to movies... I was wondering if anyone used imdb or other online search engines to help them out.

I've used it a few times as well, mainly to confirm what I have been thinking or when I am really doubting someone.
