Site works and downtime

Hi all!

You may or may not have seen the notice above.
This is a little update to that notice.

For a while now we have planned on doing some major overhauling of the forums.
So far this week its been little things here and there so no ones noticed anything but...
Starting tomorrow you may encounter messages from the forums saying stuffs messed up.
If so please feel free to report it, usually if things mess up i'm causing it.

I say usually cos i tend to catch things early.

Anyway, over the coming 2 weeks you'll start to see a few minor changes.
Sections moving, vanishing, etc
Features being removed on a temp basis
Errors which i encourage to report to me.

During this time we will have the forums offline for a bit,
And possibly only in read only mode too.

Good things are happening behind the scenes.

We will be going offline one day and coming back with a fresh look.
So dont be too shocked when you see it.

Just to give you a heads up!


New game, new look, old friends!


In the meantime i will be asking questions in polls etc, please try to answer.
These answers will help me make some choices later on.

[Update 1]
Morning, Its been slow going due to various things over the last month or so.
This week (starting from 22nd Dec) we will be taking the site offline now and again to copy the database.
So don't worry, we wont be gone long, and hopefully I'll keep it to non busy times.

Only option I have just now, I'm a bit old style.
I prefer to do something myself, that way I get what I want...
and not have to wait on someone else adding it at somepoint.

Just make sure that navigation bar isn't so small. That's my only concern.

I still like how I can click on the banner to go straight to the forum though. That was a nice touch.

I would definitely change the color scheme of this site as well, but that's my person opinion. This is just like a blogger site so I figure it shouldn't be too extreme.

The layout seems fine and it's easy to navigate my way around the page. That's not the problem, but a new look would definitely increase the numbers here. Just make sure it's flashy for new people that are coming in haha.

I'd help you out, but I charge like five thousand to start and then another five grand to finish. Then if you want the administrator name and password that will be another two grand.
