To my fellow gamers, I ussually would never post in this section, well, because I suck at XBOX360.... I have an XBOX 360 that my son and wife got me for Christmas and I attempt to play Black OPS... But the Analog control is the death of me.... I see the guy, his back is to me, but by the time I get the cross hairs actually on the target............ IM DEAD......... I've gamed pretty much exclusively with Keyboard and mouse and my older thumbs can't tweak that joystick onto a target worth beans. But my son keeps playing with his old man anyways, and I keep suffering, screaming at the screen that if we were on a PC I'd KICK YOUR #$@ you little 13yr old!!!!!!!!! Who brags at me... So I pretty much for the last 9 months have played only when my son calls and asks if I would like to play. Until this last Friday........
I've looked for those last 9 months for something that would allow me to use a mouse and keyboard with my XBOX360. But everything I found really was just a piece of junk once you went off of their websites and read some forum reviews. So I kept looking...... and finaly found

I ordered it Monday and got it this last Friday. This thing has made gaming on the console FUN and very much like my PC. When In game it really feels like I'm playing on my PC. It just took an evening to get everything tweaked in to what I liked, using a laser gaming mouse and keyboard. You do have to have a wired XBOX controller hooked up to it to config it and make it work. But this thing works well. Score wise I was doing good if I was 3rd from the bottom with the controller, my games now with the XIM3 are any where from middle of the pack to being in the top 3. I actually played for 3hrs today without my son, and enjoying it.
Now the XIM3 is $150, but when I consider how much I spend on a new GPU for a better gaming experience, it didn't make sense not to try it to have a better experience on a console. And I'm here to tell you it works, and works well.
Now make sure you read up on it, because the games themselves have restrictions which would make it so it doesn't behave exactly like a mouse on a PC, like MAX turn speed, games only allow you to turn so fast only.
Now I'm not trying to start a contoller / keyboard war. I know some have some pretty strong feelings on this. If you do, start another thread and we can Discuss IT! lol
But for you who are like me and have grown up with a keyboard and mouse, and you'd like to make your console gaming experience better. Check it out.......

PS I've also read on the forums you can make it work with a PS3 also.
