One of my biggest pet peeves(no pun intended) are someone doing things like that to their pets.
People put jewelry on their dogs, dye their fur in wicked colors, and put weird clothes on them.
Nevermind that dogs too know the difference between comfort and discomfort.
Seems to me like people do these things for their own reasons. Consideration for their dog doesn't even enter their thoughts. But than again, why else have a pet if not for our own reasons. So I guess it's a "Catch 22."

Aww cute dog Vito :2thumbs:
But from my experiences I agree with Limey (I think it was Limey) who said cats because they require less work. I have a dog currently, had 3 cats at the same time but sadly all passed away from assholes, mother nature, and drivers that need to pay attention more often. My dog is the hardest thing to take care of. He's always whinning, barking, trying to chew on things, going in the garbage, licking people... he's one pain in the rear side!
But I do love my dog, but I think he's my last one, I perfer a cat as my next pet.

Have you guys seen the Labradoodle. A cross between a labrador and a poodle. It does not shed it's hair, is okay if you are allergic to dogs and they come in 3 sizes, small, medium, large. Oh yes, they are really cute too :D

My tom cat and namesake, jaspurr, loves plastic carrier bags. He chews and licks them and he has preferences with Marks and Spencer being his favourite. I reckon it is the paint used in the logo's and he just gets high :D

One of our cats had kittens, kittens always love plastic bags, its the noise and the fact they respond well to them lol, for being an object.
We went shopping yesterday and just left all the bags out for the kittens, 4hrs later they are still playing on them.
