View Full Version : What to get? 8800GT 512 or 8800GTS 512?

I play a whole slew of games,
Flight Simulator X and 2004...
BF2, and hopefully C0D4 when I get this
Warcraft III TFT
And I would like to play Crysis but my current card doesn't cut it hehe
What do you guys think?

I have 8800GT I can run everything on High also my card is not An oc one

GT all the way. The GTS isn't really worth the extra money considering it's getting close to GTX prices. If you do have spare cash above a GT then grab a GTX, especially if you want all AA you could ever ask for and huge resolutions.

Hey thanks guys, I found some info here too, which shows that at the res I play(1280x1024), the 8800GT is much more worth it,

Good choice! Some however are starting to release the cards with a double slot cooler. Which is long overdue tbh. The stock single slot cooler is far from Nvidia's best.

No just adjyst the fan speed with Riven tunner and it 100% cool

Not bad or good, but does it's job. They really should have used the same design as the 8800GTS' though.
