Check out steam. for the next couple of days I guess they will have all their games marked down 10-15% and some are even 25%. I saw an ad for it on reboot but didn't get an SS. But this is a good time to buy stuff.

Orange box and bioshock were for $49 are now only for $37!

I would buy from steam but the only problem is that there is a download limit in australia :( (if i pass my limit i will have to stick with 64kb for a month!)

Is it like the bf2142 northern strike deal where it keeps a record that you paid for it and can download your games again if you have a computer disaster? I always want the disc for that reason.

Steam is simple.... you download Steam. Anyone can do even if you don't own a game. Make an Account and remember your password. As long as you tell no one your pass they will always be there.

Many people want the discs etc etc... The same EA fear floats around. Thing is, Steam has been around longer then EA's make-shift program and it works great.

Steam should never be compared to EA. I have used Steam since its release and never had a problem with Steam itself. I have 3-4 friends who also have used Steam for a long time and stand by it. Any problems I have ever had has been on my side and not theirs.

I too have used Steam since it's release. I love it. Another benefit I like is I can dl and play it on other computers. If I visit a relative I can play while there and just delete it before I leave. You do not need to carry discs or hunt for lost discs.
