Not exactly surprising. The MMO model isn't really the best thing ever invented. WOW notwithstanding, it doesn't do all that well overall.

That said, both Star Wars: The Old Republic and Lego Universe have a lot of opportunity to stick around for a bit. I would like to play both really, but won't play ANY MMO. Monthly fees? Bye bye.
