I bought it last week but was waiting for my games to be delivered. I got the Slim but with the most memory. I got it online through work for 10% discount off my passport membership. That saved me so much for getting accessories and games.

Games I have so far include, FF XIII, Dynasty Warriors: SkyForce or whatever it's name is, Trinity Universe, MAG and Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. I will be getting more soon but these will keep my entertained for the moment.

If I don't like it, I can use it for a trade-in value.

I haven't even popped it into the console yet, I've been stuck on FF XIII. Just got Vaneele's summon last night after doing endless Missions for those Crystalized La'Cieths.

I just beat FF13 last night, 48 hours gametime. I did not complete all the crystal Cie'th missions. Debating if I want to do that or not to get some of the rewards and fill out more crystarium.

One of the bosses you haven't faced yet sucks. It has a random one-hit kill thing that can and does sometimes target the main character. :pissed:

Don't tell me it's the Cactuar boss from one of the missions. Plus, there are accessories to block KO spells/abilities or at least increase the chance of blocking. They are also ways to get around things like that. Put the monster into a "Stagger" to avoid the hit, also use spells like fog to keep them from casting or put them to sleep with daze. Little to very few monsters, with exception to side quest bosses are immune to all types of disabilities. Trust me, there is always a way to counter they're Power Moves. I'm a FF guru and have played them all and beaten them all. Most of them I have memorized, sadly.

No, it's a main story boss, and if you walk in without going the "max up to 99999 everything" approach it's not possible to keep it staggered the whole way. And it is immune to most status effects.

I had a party with 1 member over 7,000 hp, and the other 2 closer to 6,000, and had only maximized level 9 crystarium in one class each. No tier 3 weapons, few maximized accessories.

I know how to play the FF games too. :)

Which weapons upgrade to the max/best ones. The only one I have upgraded is Lightning/Claire's Gladius. That's at it's tier 2 and level 26 as of last night. That's my only "real" concern is what weapon is their best one.

I didn't really get into the stats enough to care. There's a few guides on Gamefaqs that go in-depth on the best weapon combinations. I just grabbed ones that sounded like they had cool effects and upgraded them. :D

Yeah, shortly after I replied to you, I checked out GameFaqs. Tuns out that each one has it's own benefits when upgraded to max tier. Turns out that most people liked the Gladius but have chosen another on their 2nd playthrough, finding it was more useful in tier 2 and 3 than the rest.

Just beat FF XIII right now! Watching credits role. Too easy but visually amazing. Off to do missions now and beat it again for 5-star ranking for PS3 theme of Lightning/Claire.
