Yes, ive done the ultimate sin. Im trying to use a xbox 360 controller to play cod4 on the pc :)

I know mouse and keyboard have great looking speed, but im use to the 360 controller for this game and actually feel more effective using it.
There is just so many keys to remember for this game using a mouse. Looks like im not the only one who has done this as well. I found profiles that people have made that map the gamepad to cod4 keys. So far its pretty close.

I know its a sin to think of doing this and its evil.... but i have been playing cod4 with a gamepad since sept. on the xbox 360. Now going to pc just seems odd.

But none the less the server is full so i cant even test it here :) but if you see my fumbling around thats probably why.

I did happen to get into the server once for 1 round, then left to get a drink came back and server was full.
But fear me and my boomstick!!!! err.... gampad :)

I actually stopped playing the X360 COD4 Beta because I detest FPS w/controllers so much (well that, and matchmaking is the Devil. THE DEVIL). I've even contemplated getting one of those add-ons for my 360 that allows me to hook up a K+M, but at $90, I'd have to be really committed.

yeah... i found a nice tool that lets you use the 360 controller with cod4 and it almost matchs up right. But it turns slow as poop :( so it kinda suxs. I tried mouse a min ago and did ok.
