Not sure if you're talking steam or EA. I've invited about 40 people in BC2 to be on my friends list, but none show up as accepted. I've chalked it up to crappy EA coding or something.

I'm sorry if it was me. o_o my friend list was bugged a while ago and deleted a lot of people, and the same thing happens everytime I change from the beta to the new one. (if that is steam)
And I have almost no one in the bfbc2 list xD

It's not only the 20-name limit. I've experienced inviting & being invited multiple times without either of us ever seeing an invite.

My only guess is that there might be an EA server boundary between Steam vs. non-Steam users, but ultimately the reason doesn't matter. Sometimes, knowledge isn't power.

You can only get friends request then the person is in the main menu in the game, not if he is playing!! I think it's that way it is...

I suggest that before hitting the send button to disparage our members, next time try using something they call "Google" it allows you to ask a question BEFORE inserting foot.

Dude I quite even relying on the friends list it's so flakey. If someone is playing the game I look at the steam status.

I think once you hit 20 it doesnt actually send or receive requests, so if you want to send another one, you have to remove one of the old ones. Not sure, though...

There are three things the end user needs more than about anything else in their gaming interface:

1. Functional and useful server browser
2. Friends list to see where buddies are at the moment
3. Working VOIP to talk to said buddies in game

And that's only the beginning of the list. Having to "hip fire" mounted guns (not being able to look down sights)...no red dot in some red dot scopes...oh, I'd better not start again...:oops:

That's what I'm talking about. Understanding how software is developed even makes much more interesting to me. I would have never allowed this software to field with everything I have seen. They didn't beta test this either did they.
I know one popular development concept is develop to 80% and finish the remaining 20% after fielding. I still this this is a idiotic process, but it seems like this is the mindset EA management used when releasing this game.
I think the fact they forgot to include is targeted customer base. The gaming industry is NOT the customer base to use this method of development. :|
