Knifing your enemy is not like BF 2142 Deadly its quick and fast pace and once you take a swipe a someone and you miss there is a delay before you can try again and by that time the jig is up and now they know your there.

I love knifing compared to BF2142. It just feels more responsive. In BF2142 you hit the button to pull out the knife and half a second later it came out (quite loudly, too). Then when you go up to someone and click the mouse, the knife attack is quite slow, a good fraction of a second after you click. It just felt sluggish.

In COD4, the person dies the second you hit v... They can't escape it if they're prone, or crouching. None of the ridiculous jumping at your enemy's feet like in 2142.. It's just a straightforward kill.. if you sneak up on someone, they die.. simple as that.

Knifing isn't what you think with this game... it is very easy to get knifed.


But I am sharping my knife regardlessly.

Ohh, people Love to knife. Better than a 1 shot to the head.
Instant death and no waste of precious ammo. I've run out of
both rifle and pistol ammo myself, and no spare weapons to pick up.

Though I tend to shoot first to meet challenge point needs. :D
But NOTHING more humiliating than getting knifed.
