I stumbled upon your server the other night (CoD4) and have been having a spectacular time playing with you guys. I decided to look up the website and was instantly jealous of your home theater! ;)

I just wanted to drop a note to say hi and thanks for the quality gaming your server provides. I haven't been bothered by the usual jerks you can find in a pub server and most people playing just want to play the game and have fun I've noticed.

I am an older gamer and am not ashamed to admit I am addicted to gaming. I play games like Guild Wars, Hellgate London, Rainbow 6, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, Crysis, Oblivion,CoD4 and CHESS! (it's the game of kings yknow!)

Well, I won't make this long winded (as I tend to do sometimes) but again, I'm glad I found your server and hope to play online with you guys more.

I go by different nicknames but with this nickname people call me A1 or my name Chris will also do. :D

Had fun playing with you last night, though IIRC, I was on the receiving end of your P90 far more than I'd like :cry: :twisted:

We actually have quite a few "older" gamers 'round these parts, though age is just a state of mind. Many CLRs (Cain's Lair Regulars) are over the age of 30, and Apache is our resident elder statesmen topping the scale at somewhere between 50 and 1,000 years old :wink: (shoot, Limey beat me to it).

There are quite a few of us that like to call this little slice of the internet "home", mainly for those reasons you stated in your OP. We like to think Cain's Lair has "All the fun of a clan, without all the BS."

You will really like it around here. I'm 50, Apache is older than I am,we tend to have an older crowd, and in many cases two generations playing here, sons and fathers, fathers and sons daughters and fathers, etc.

We do not allow the typical crap you will often find on public servers (profanity, racial insults, etc), and once we get settled into COD4 we will keep it clean, as cheat free as possible, and fun for all!!
