Dilemma.

I already own this game for the ps3, but I really miss playing with you guys. I'm a little strapped for cash with the new car and all. Should I ask the wife for this game for Christmas or get the orange box? :? HELP!

It's a tough call. If you are a fan of HL2 then you get the next chapter in the series. You also get the game Portal and of course TF2. It's the best bang for your buck.

If you just want to play with the CLRs then I would wait and see what games are going to stay around before you drop the $$.

If you haven't played HL2 yet then you could probably get a free code from some of the people who have two codes from the purchase of the Orange box. If you try HL2 then you may be better able to figure out what to do.

I plan on getting this game at some point but my gaming budget has been spent for the time being.

I'd say get COD4 for the PC, and scrounge $30 for the downloadable version of TF2 when you get the money. They are both very fun games though, and can't go wrong with either one.

Mass, I have both. I love TF2 and am still going to be playing it. But COD4 I think is better. Cartoon fun vs. realism. Both great games.

I have UT3, TF2, 2142/BF2 and COD4.

NO.1 is COD4, hands down. To me anyway. :D

That is where a lot of the CLR's are playing.

I'll still play the others for a change of pace, but

If money is an issue, give it a few weeks at least to see where the game is headed on Cain's Lair. There have been games in the past that started off with a bang in the first few days and ended up bust soon after that.

So wait it out and see if COD4 hangs around before putting in the money
