So with all the pitchforks and torches appearing in the PC thread who's picking this one up for the PS3?

I'm debating because UT3 is still fun (plus get to use my KB+M) and right now only have time to game on the weekend (thus I would be eating lots of lead most games).

So I assume you had Call of Duty 4, correct? Can you explain to me how horrible the match making system was/ or if it wasn't. Because I haven't heard Console opinions other than "PC gamers should grow up and get a console."

Whoever was hosting if say they were getting owned they'd disconnect and crash the whole room back to the lobby(plus all your kills, killstreak would not count) Cant count how many times I owned mofo's and they'd abort. The only good thing was that you could get a party and have them follow you into a room.

I'm pretty sure GTAIV used a matchmaking system too but can't recall since the online was not very reliable at the time (game was still fun). Plus I wasn't used to the matchmaking and was turned off by how unflexible it seemed.

Luckly UT3 for the PS3 has dedicated servers so in that way it's very much like finding games on the PC version.

CoD:MW had one of the best single player storyline I've ever played in an FPShooter. But, paying 60+ dollars for a few hours of gameplay? Hell no! This game is a rental for me.

Got to say the feeds I've been seeing of the multiplayer are very impressive. Didn't realize the amount of carnage or options for this game...I assume COD4 had a similar system.

Well torn between MW2 and BFBC2 since I only have time for one and both look like they have excellent multiplayer options (really care less about the single player).

I'll be playing it this weekend for sure so add me to your friends list.
BTW I will only have it for 15 days (free gamefly trial so got Uncharted 2 as well) but with the BC2 beta on the 19th it won't take too long to figure out which one is for me.

Will do.

It's OT but here's pics of MW2 and Uncharted 2 on my 92" screen. Both games are very impressive in video and audio when ran through the home theater. I played about 12 hours on Uncharted 2 and about 8 on MW2 and hopefully can squeeze in some multiplayer before they go back.
