SOOOOOO.....my wife decided to go on a cloths shopping spree which leaves me with an allowance to get myself something!! I cannot decide on which games to buy, I have heard great things about assassins creed and COD4 but there is also Pro street and GH3.

I think I have narrowed it down to:
Bioshock
Assassins creed
Prostreet
GH3
COD4
or .................

Help me pick 2!!!

pro street kinda sux.
Bio shock is very fun but no mp. So you could probably rent it and save some dollars same with assassins creed. personally i think bioshock is better.
gh3 is nice
cod 4 is probably a must have
mass affect is worth renting as well

But iid stay away from pro street it kinda sux. If you have a guitar id say get gh3 and cod4 and rent the other games. But if you must buy 2 id say cod4 for mp and bioshock for sp. But you rally cant go worng with any of those games (except maybe prodstreet). There is demos available on live. Id try some of them before rushing to buy and see what you like.

Of course if you plan to get cod4 for pc to play here, i probably wouldn't buy it for 360. Then id say probably bioshock and either mass affect of assassins creed (all sp games) If your a rpg fan then either get blue dragon or eternal sonata. Both very good rpgs and well worth playing.

You can get used guitars from ebgames/gamestop for like 35 bux :2thumbs: very nice price if you are looking just to rent gh2 or gh3.

I am dissapointed to here about prostreet........I was leaning toward that and COD4 but you are right about buying it for 360 when I should buy it for pc, The problem I run into is that I can only rent some games because of the region coding, I have to rent from the german store but I can buy from the army exchange. Bioshock is region free but COD4 and Prostreet are not so I can rent BS and see what its about but have to rely on reviews for the ones that are coded.

There is a demo for prostreet on live.
(there is a little trick that microsoft doesnt like people doing). Make a silver (free) live account in different regions so you can get the most demos. US has the most as far as i can tell).

Im a big NFS fan and really liked most wanted andthe other 1 for the 360. But pro street doesnt even feel or remind me of a nfs game, its changed that much. I would strongly suggest renting or trying the demo on live before buying that game for 60 bux.

bioshock, mass effect, eternal sonata, blue dragon are all solid games. Many people loved assassins creed, but for some reason i didnt get into that much. Ill have to rent it again and give it a deeper run.

COD4 is a must check on no matter what platform you have. if your pc cant handle it, then id say get it for xbox 360. Same goes for the organge box. If you dont get it for pc its worth checking out on xbox 360 as well. it has like hl2 hl2 ep 1 and 2, tf2 and portal all in 1 box.

Here is a link to my favorite site

other new releases worth considering are rockband (ask trashdragon about this game).

It really depends on what kinda games you like? If your a big mp freak id say cod4 or hl2 orange box (unless you plan to buy either for pc, then i wouldnt get them for 360).

if your a big rpg fan id say go
blu dragon (like a traditional ff type rpg)
eternal sonata (like ff 10 rpg)
mass effect (not the best game but still very addicting and very fun) Kinda reminds me of a cool fantasy star (without being online).
Bioshock is probably one of the biggest named games this year
assassins creed id check reviews or get feedback from someone who played the whole game like deadly assassin.
