My bookmarks are gone, once again.

Im not sure where they keep going, but it'd be great if I could recover them...

i've had this happen. there should be backups in the

C:documents and settings/<username>/application data/mozilla/firefox/profiles/<profile name (jibberish)/bookmark backups

I didn't have anything username, no application date ->

Also seems that my homepage was reset in this bug.

If you're running Vista is might be something different. It's also a hidden folder so you'll need to enable the ability to see hidden folders in order to see the Application Data folder and sub folders.

if you have no username how u gunna have app data....

its there if your using xp


my instructions indicate <username> <--------YOUR USER NAME

i always show hidden files/folders/etc , did that when i formatted....

Had that bug as well. Try "View" -> "Toolbars" -> "Customize" -> "Restore default set" -> restart FF.

I have a username, just no app data folder or anything after, seems to have gotten deleted/moved for whatever reason.

Oh well, nothing REALLY important was lost, just quick shortcuts for links I often forget. Now this leaves me to wonder what was on there.

Thanks anyway guys, and WT, I'm heading to install it right now, so this doesn't happen again!
