Just a little tidbit of info here.

AICN reports that director McG (We Are Marshall) has cast Christian Bale (Batman Begin) in the upcoming "Terminator" reboot, entitled "Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins."

Bale will play the role of the older John Conner, who is in a full-scale war between Skynet and humankind. For those of you who don't remember, Conner was the unborn son in the first "Terminator" film, who was set to be killed along with his mother by Arnold's character, so he doesn't grow up to be the leader of the human resistance against the machines.

A screenplay for the new film has been completed by "Terminator 3" scribes John Brancato and Michael Ferris. It is scheduled to hit theaters sometime in 2009.

So do we get to see the whole machine war? That would make for a pretty friggin' good sci-fi flick.

I presume so. It's the Terminator movie everybody has been waiting for. :D

THe record up here juneau had a story published about a 'terminator series' its based between the time of 2 and 3 conner is on the run from another terminator or something...

Never read much into it, will see if i can get some pics of the page tommorow.

Totally separate from what Juneau was posting about. This is a Fox series that starts in January in the U.S. (writer's strike permitting). The other is a theatrical movie.

I bet he makes a cameo even if he doesn't have a large roll. You can't have Terminator without Arnold.

true. but i really doubt he would play in this movie, hes already to old for this roll. but u never know he is the terminator. :D
