graphics tweak necessary for full game?

I noticed the Graphics Tweak sticky was updated.
I haven't bought the game yet, but I was wondering if the graphics tweak is necessary for the full game?

The graphics seem better, even if some people were complaining about lack of AA and high-res textures. I think I'm going to drop in on a Suspense server for a short time when I get home (before I play more CLR Warfare :2thumbs: ) and see if that one looks better than the Beta-- always best to compare the same map.

However, death messages DO NOT show up in Warfare by default. I updated the graphics tweak to highlight the edit you would need to make that (I think) will show death messages. It works against the bots, but I haven't had a chance to try it in an online match yet.

For the maps I did play yesterday, things like the purple haze are gone, except for this one map that had a bluish haze that was intentional.
