I would like to have seen what Cheney said as opposed to what Bagala thinks about it. I also don't think comparing the expansion of government when fighting terrorism can be compared to the expansion that is happening now. I know that there were sunset clauses in the patriot act for many of the more controversial parts. I wish there were sunsets in some of BHOs plans but unfortunately the future generations will be left with the bill.
If you think Cheney was about it what about Obama using some of the same tactics.

I've seen that too, Duke. "Change", my eye! It's all a country club...Democrats or Republicans...really can't tell 'em apart too much...except each has their own favorites (but they're never us). :|

They are both taking down the same road but Obama and other liberals are just going a lot faster.

Ok BHO invokes the state secret act for the first time. For those of you who don't know Bush invoked the state secrets act more than double than any other president. The disturbing thing is the first time ever it was invoked was to cover up faulty maintenance records on air force planes that were doing wild weasel runs and hence denied the widows of airmen compensation. I always feel unease when the state secrets act gets dropped. It has a very bad history that has come to light vi FoIAs
