Oh this just chaps my hide. I can't wait until the liberals try to maps out amnesty to all these people. It will be one of the few times that I will bee glad McCain lost because he is not better the Obama on this issue.

Guy's in a no win situation. No laws against trespassing, illegal entry to the country? I suppose claymores are not an option...maybe when we leave Iraq we can spend some of the cash on patrolling our own borders.

Stuff like this is a load of crap. Honestly, if I had my way we'd have our military set up along the border with machine gun nests set up to provide cross fire, snares and lines connected to flares for low light illumination, and a line of mines set up, say, 30 feet from gun emplacements. You could even make the emplacements fairly livable, not just a place to stand with a weapon. Then notify all the governments to the south that the border is now a free fire zone for any troops stationed there. Followed up by a letter to the UN telling them to piss off.

The judge should have thrown the suit out. Hopefully the jury will have a little more sense...

They can't really be serious with this one, can they? Legally speaking, he did nothing wrong. He stopped them from trespassing on his property and then basically made a citizen's arrest. He was also stopping them from trashing his property. Don't you think that he, the American citizen, would be more protected under the whole pursuit of happiness that our country was founded upon? I can't believe the size of the toilet we are flushing our country down. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised though. There are all kinds of stupid cases like this popping up. A thief can sue the owner of a house for hitting him with a baseball bat. A mother can sue a football coach for her son dying of heat stroke after signing a release form and the coach doing everything by the book. Heck, I have even seen a case where a man hit a cow with his truck and then sued the owner for the costs of the repairs on his truck. Step one in the Linemanstud project for rescuing America is to get rid of all of these stupid lawsuits. Yes, I understand people should be able to sue when an insurance company doesn't pay what they said they would, or when a construction company hangs a man out to dry after getting injured on the job. Other than those big ones, though, there should be no lawsuits in our country. People just abuse the power that judges and lawers are giving them.

The guy has a right to protect his land....what matters is how he went about it. I don't see a problem with stopping tresspassers at gunpoint but, kicking them seems a bit I don't know wrong. It's however no where near 32 mill in damages
