Welcome to the Home of the Cain's Lair Game Servers!!
"You'll come for the Games, but you'll stay for the People!"
Our first server went public in January of 1998. We have had a lot of fun over the years and made a lot of new friends 
Cain's Lair features a great crowd of regular players and dedicated administrators (a mix of male and female) who care about this community, value good sportsmanship and like to have fun. We welcome everyone but we do not tolerate players harassing others or deliberately spoiling their fun.
An outgrowth of our game servers is a Community of people who enjoy playing on-line games without the drama and nonsense that often permeates other Game Servers.
Our Forums are very active so please take a moment to sign up for them and make yourself at home! In our Forums you will meet new people, make friends, have some fun, and enhance playing in our servers with and against your new buddies.
All are welcome to play in our servers, but if you want to stay here you need to follow our simple rules:
Treat Others with Respect
Show Good Sportsmanship
No Harassment or Bullying
No Cheating

Hi all!
You may or may not have seen the notice above.
This is a little update to that notice.
For a while now we have planned on doing some major overhauling of the forums.
So far this week its been little things here and there so no ones noticed anything but...
Starting tomorrow you may encounter messages from the forums saying stuffs messed up.
If so please feel free to report it, usually if things mess up i'm causing it.
I say usually cos i tend to catch things early.
Anyway, over the coming 2 weeks you'll start to see a few minor changes.
Sections moving, vanishing, etc
Features being removed on a temp basis
Errors which i encourage to report to me.
During this time we will have the forums offline for a bit,
And possibly only in read only mode too.
Good things are happening behind the scenes.
We will be going offline one day and coming back with a fresh look.
So dont be too shocked when you see it.
Just to give you a heads up!
New game, new look, old friends!
In the meantime i will be asking questions in polls etc, please try to answer.
These answers will help me make some choices later on.

[Update 1]
Morning, Its been slow going due to various things over the last month or so.
This week (starting from 22nd Dec) we will be taking the site offline now and again to copy the database.
So don't worry, we wont be gone long, and hopefully I'll keep it to non busy times.

We have lost a dear friend |

Our friend Dennis Brown, "DennisM7" one of our Game Administrators passed away last Friday after a short illness.
He was one of our most liked and respected Admins. His good temperament and positive attitude were enjoyed and appreciated by all who knew him.
He leaves behind a wife and two small children.
He loved on-line gaming and found us playing Battlefield 2, and stuck around ever since.
Dennis loved his family and watching hockey and football.
He was a Master Sergeant, U.S. Air Force 18+ years, Network Infrastructure Technician.
Around here in BC2 he was a BRIGADIER GENERAL II -- Dennis{CLR}, and more importantly our dear friend.
I would appreciate all of you posting in this thread with remembrances of Dennis, condolences for his wife and children, stories of gaming with him and reminders of the fun and fellowship we all shared with him.
May God Bless Dennis, and his family.
"Funeral services for Master Sargent Dennis R. Brown will be held Friday, July 29 at Kent Forrest Lawn in Panama City, FL at 10:00 a.m. "
